For most people their true character comes through immediately when you meet them. Since most people form an opinion of us within 30-45 seconds of meeting us, living by our true character is very important.
For a true dedicated Christian, displaying a character that is God-like on a regular basis will show the world the virtues that Jesus practiced and tried to instill in man during his short time he walked the earth. We cannot be effective advocates of the Christian faith if are actions are not consistent with our words.
